Adobe CS3 was quite sweet, got the job done But… CS4 is sooooooo sloooow… What do I do now??? Is it just me?? I thouht an upgrade would make things better… surely this can’t be called an upgrade if it’s so slow?? HELLO Adobe??? anyone home?? do you like getting the dozen os so bug reports I send - EVERY DAY????????
Casting off type
Just found this. It reminds me of the typefounders books I used to use to cast off type before sending it to a typesetters (and crossing my fingers that the typesetting would come back as I expected from my markup). Wow! is seems ridiculous now, that typographers used to do this… I’m sure hard core book typographers still know how to do it. The things we used to do before Desktop...
